Indian Chicken Masala

Preparation process

Mix all ingredients for the marinade. Cut the meat into smaller cubes, mix with the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.

Heat a tablespoon of butter in a pot and cook the meat until golden. Transfer it to a bowl.

In the same pot, add another tablespoon of butter and sauté the shallots, season with salt. Add garlic, ginger, garam masala, chili, turmeric, and salt.

Add tomato paste, peeled tomatoes, and cream. Simmer for a few minutes, then remove from heat and blend until smooth.

Return to the stove, add the chicken, cover, and simmer on low heat for about half an hour.

Serve with naan or basmati rice, top with yogurt sauce with mint and lemon, and fresh herbs. Enjoy!
