Salt - Baked Chicken

Preparation process

Dry the chicken. Cover the bottom of the baking dish with the coarse salt. Gently place the chicken
on the flattened salt bed and bake at 200°C for about 1 hour. Do not turn it during cooking.


Herb salt
The chicken can also be baked on herb salt, which gives off some aromas. To a kilogram of coarse salt
add sprigs of fresh rosemary and thyme, 2 tablespoons of fennel seeds, 1 tablespoon of coriander seeds, a few
sprigs of dried and ground sage, and the peel of 2 lemons.

 

How long do you bake the chicken?
The cooking time is estimated by weighing the chicken before cooking. Cook for 30 minutes per 500 g of chicken.
